As a Heritage Resources Manager, you will oversee Heritage Resource Program projects and support Project Managers in coordinating fieldwork, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will monitor contracts, schedules, financial performance, and project quality, while reviewing proposals and maintaining effective communication with clients, Indigenous communities, and regulatory agencies. Your role will also include identifying business development opportunities and supporting reconciliation commitments and corporate standards. In addition, you will provide leadership in health, safety, and environmental performance while supporting team development, workforce planning, and overall operational effectiveness.
Our ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field and brings at least ten years of experience in environmental consulting, including a minimum of five years in a leadership role; a PMP designation is considered an asset, and an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. You have strong knowledge of relevant provincial and territorial regulatory requirements and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively. You are a confident leader and communicator who can mentor and inspire teams while building positive relationships with government agencies, community groups, and Indigenous partners. You apply sound judgment, analytical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills to navigate complex challenges, while remaining adaptable and solutions-focused. You are highly organized, capable of working independently and collaboratively, and proficient in Microsoft Office and project management platforms.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Position requires: Criminal Record Check, Valid Driver’s License
Language Requirement: Fluent in English

Wage Range: This is a Salary position with a target hiring range of $108,427 to $133,395 per year. Final placement within this range will typically be between the minimum and midpoint and is determined based on each candidate’s unique combination of skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. We also consider factors such as market conditions and internal equity to support fair and transparent compensation practices.
