Ecofor Consulting Ltd. is a natural and cultural resource management company, with offices in British Columbia, the Yukon, Alberta, and Nova Scotia. As the Heritage Resource Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight for Ecofor’s heritage projects. Your day will involve meeting with project teams to review progress, resolve challenges, allocate resources, and monitor financial performance across multiple projects. You will work closely with clients, Indigenous communities, government agencies, and internal interest holders to maintain strong relationships and ensure project expectations are met. In addition, you will mentor and support staff, contribute to recruitment and performance development. Promoting a strong culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the heritage program.
Our ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including at least 5 years in a management role. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related discipline (PMP certification is an asset). Brings experience managing projects and teams, mentoring staff, navigating provincial and territorial regulatory requirements, and building strong relationships with government agencies, community groups, and Indigenous representatives.

Wage Range: This is a Salary position with a target hiring range of $108,430.40 – $133,390.40 per year. Final placement within this range will typically be between the minimum and midpoint and is determined based on each candidate’s unique combination of skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. We also consider factors such as market conditions and internal equity to support fair and transparent compensation practices.
Location: We have offices in several locations in western Canada, however, successful candidates who reside outside those areas can be based out of their existing home, if preferred.
