GENERAL MANAGER - FORT ST. JOHN OFFICE: The postion is best filled by an individual capable of managing and scheduling environmental resources primarily for oil and gas work in BC and Alberta. This individual will be familiar with environmental permitting in the oil and gas sector and managing general operations in conjunction with the head office. This individual will also assist with business development while managing existing and new client and First Nation relationships.
The successful applicant will manage a multi-disciplinary team, but work independently with minimal supervision. Projects will be located throughout BC and Alberta so familiarity with government regulations of one or both provinces is preferred.
Required Qualifications: strong written and verbal communication skills; experiences with the Peace Region oil and gas sector and the OGC; upper level management experience; and human resources management experience.
Desirable Qualifications: business development experience thru teaming, marketing and sales; natural and/or cultural resources management experience; environmental assessment and agency review experience; as well as other resource sector experience. ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIELD DIRECTOR/CREW SUPERVISORS: seeking archaeologists qualified to be field
director (as per Bulletin 17) or crew supervisor on archaeological impact assessments. Must have a
minimum of a Bachelors degree with sufficient field and supervisory experience in the Central BC region.
Must have demonstrated report writing, leadership and communication skills. Applicants must be

We are currently recruiting for an individual to fill the position of REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL
BIOLOGIST. This will be a full time position based from our Fort St. James, BC office. The position is
best filled by an individual capable of field assessments in remote locations but that prefers and excels in an
office setting. The position will involve all aspects of project completion including acquisition of permits,
field data collection, reporting, approvals submissions, and client and government follow-up as required.
The successful applicant must be able to work effectively as a member of a team, and also work
independently with minimal supervision and direction. Projects will be located throughout Alberta and
British Columbia so familiarity with the government regulations of one or both provinces will be critical.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills.
For this position we will consider resumes from applicants with technical diplomas, bachelors degrees,
masters degrees, and PhDs. We will consider applicants with or without professional accreditations from
the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists, and the BC College of Applied Biology.
Primary assignments will include QAES assessments in support of the Alberta Code of Practice for
Watercourse crossings, and stream classification as per RISC and FPC standards. We will be working with
aquatic environments across Alberta and BC to facilitate design and construction of crossings ranging from
1m wide culverts to 300m bridges. There is potential to team up with other staff and work on projects
involving wildlife, birds, wetlands, environmental monitoring, population estimation, archaeology, and
forestry.
